Hospital to Home LLC is seeking an experienced In-House General Counsel to oversee all legal matters, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic legal guidance to our executive team and board. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical transport, Medicaid regulations, contract law, and workers' compensation, along with exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
In this role, you will be a trusted advisor, offering legal counsel on key business initiatives while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your ability to navigate complex legal landscapes, negotiate contracts, and provide proactive solutions will be critical to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to stay ahead of industry regulations and provide sound legal advice.
· Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to protect the company’s interests.
· Clearly communicate legal processes and options to internal teams and stakeholders.
· Provide counsel on employment law matters, including hiring, terminations, and employee relations.
· Oversee legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
· Represent the company in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings when necessary.
· Maintain a strong understanding of business operations and financial implications related to legal matters.
· Uphold the highest ethical standards and integrity in all legal dealings.
· Handle special projects and assignments as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
· Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
· Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in healthcare, medical transport, or corporate law.
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
· Strong proficiency in digital tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
