Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Transport Driver to join our team. As a Transport Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients from hospitals to their home, or other destinations. If you have a strong driving record and excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment
- Safely operate non-emergency transport vehicles
- Assist patients onto stretchers or wheelchairs as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the vehicle
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or incidents to Fleet Management
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in shuttle driving, bus driving, commercial driving, or delivery driving is preferred
- Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact compassionately & professionally with patients
- Physical ability to lift and move patients when necessary
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with passengers or clients
