Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Position: Med Surg Department Nurse
Salary Range $105,000 - $117,000 per year
Shift: Night Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, Day: 7am to 7:30pm ( Three shifts per week including every other weekend)

Job Description:
· The medical-surgical nurse must be able to assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education
· Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.
· Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse
Requirements:
- BSN Degree Required with 1 – 2 years of hospital Med Surg experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients, and family members
- BLS Certification (required)
- ACLS Certification (required)
- RN License (required)
