Hospitality First LLC is a premier hospitality destination, committed to providing exceptional guest experiences. We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Technician to ensure our technology infrastructure runs smoothly, supporting both guests and hotel operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hotel staff and guests, troubleshooting IT-related issues.
- Maintain, update, and repair hardware, software, and network systems.
- Manage hotel Wi-Fi networks, ensuring optimal connectivity and security.
- Oversee property management system (PMS).
- Monitor and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect hotel data.
- Support audio/visual systems in conference rooms and event spaces.
- Collaborate with vendors for IT equipment, software, and system upgrades.
- Document IT processes and provide training for staff on basic tech troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an IT Technician, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of hotel PMS and POS systems (e.g., Opera, Micros, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with networking, Windows and Mac OS, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
