maintenance/Laundry technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all maintenance tasks within our facility, including the upkeep of laundry equipment and cleaning systems. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and efficient environment, particularly in a hotel setting where guest satisfaction is paramount.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment, ensuring all machines are functioning properly.
• Launder and clean linens, uniforms, and other items as needed, adhering to quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from hotel staff and management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations within the hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of dry cleaning processes and equipment is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various types of machinery.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with staff and management.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
