We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities remain in excellent condition, providing a safe and functional environment for all.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Conduct repairs on appliances, fixtures, and equipment as needed.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functioning of systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests from staff or management for repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and tools, including the use of an Ohmmeter.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively and provide practical solutions.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
