Hospitality Spotlight is working with a client in Texas , and we are looking for a Director of Sales to join their luxury hotel team.
The Work :
Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to drive revenue and meet performance goals.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to identify and secure new business opportunities.
Oversee all aspects of the sales department, including forecasting, market analysis, and competitive positioning.
Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure brand alignment and optimize promotional strategies across digital and traditional channels.
Cultivate relationships with key accounts, industry partners, and community organizations to drive occupancy and revenue.
Partner with operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and service excellence.
Manage budgetary goals, ensuring cost-effective strategies and maximized profitability.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
What You’ve Already Done (Requirements) :
Progressive sales experience in a luxury and full-service hotel setting.
7 years at Director level managing a sales team.
Strong knowledge of market trends, revenue strategies, and business development in the hospitality industry.
A Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and fostering client relationships.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Prior experience as an Executive Committee member in a hotel setting is a plus.
Compensation :
Yearly salary base range of $115k - $130K
