Overview:
Hospitality Spotlight is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of Hotel Financial Operations to lead the financial management of multiple hotel properties in Southern California.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing financial and accounting operations, planning, and risk management for luxury hotel properties or multi-unit retail operations at a corporate level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial and accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for multiple hotel properties
- Develop and implement robust tax planning, compliance, and risk management strategies
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of integrity, respect, and compliance
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures across all properties and business entities
- Drive acquisition activities and lead financial audits, ensuring accurate financial transactions and operational accounting practices
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably in luxury hotels or multi-unit retail operations
- Proven expertise in SaaS accounting, business intelligence, and hospitality software
- Luxury hotel experience with a deep understanding of high-end financial operations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $215,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
