Position Overview
As a Social Media Content Creator, you’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and managing engaging content across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and other platforms. You’ll bring your expertise in photography, short-form video creation/editing, and content scheduling to drive engagement, brand awareness, and conversions.
What You’ll Do
✅ Content Creation & Production
- Create and curate compelling content, capture high-quality photos and short-form videos that align with our brand and marketing goals.
- Edit videos for Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
- Develop engaging, educational, and fun content to connect with the gardening community.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to create visually appealing graphics for social media posts.
✅ Content Scheduling & Strategy
- Plan and schedule posts across platforms using scheduling tools
- Work alongside our marketing team to create content calendars and campaign strategies.
- Conduct research to identify target audience preferences and interests
- Monitor and analyze engagement metrics to optimize content for performance.
✅ Platform Expertise & Growth
- Stay updated on trends, best practices, and algorithm changes for Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and others.
- Experiment with new formats and viral trends to increase organic reach and engagement.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments, DMs, and customer interactions.
Who You Are
Experienced: 2 years in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
Skilled in Visual Storytelling: Strong photography and videography skills, with knowledge of lighting, composition, and editing.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar editing software.
Trend-Savvy: Knows the latest social media trends, hashtags, and viral content strategies.
Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain a consistent posting schedule.
Passionate About Gardening/Food Growing (Bonus!): While not required, an interest in gardening, homesteading, or sustainable living is a big plus!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
