About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Rosedale, Maryland.
As a member of our cardiac catheterization lab, you will be responsible for performing various procedures, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Operation: Operate specialized medical equipment, including fluoroscopy machines and electrocardiogram devices, to facilitate accurate diagnoses and effective treatments.
- Patient Preparation: Assist in preparing patients for procedures, positioning them properly, and maintaining their safety throughout the procedure.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and treatments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
