The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various equipment such as X-ray machines, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound devices.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Assist with radiation safety protocols and follow established guidelines to minimize patient exposure
Requirements:
- Current ARRT (R) certification in Radiography or Cardiovascular Interventions
- 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
