Travel CT Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Travel CT Technologist to join our team at Host Healthcare. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Job Summary:

The Travel CT Technologist will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners. This includes preparing patients for scans, operating the scanner, and interpreting images to diagnose medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
• Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Interpret images to diagnose medical conditions and communicate results to radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan protocols, and image quality.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current certification in Computed Tomography (CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital or imaging center setting.
• Excellent clinical skills, including ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
