Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist
Location: Gregory, South Dakota
Dates: 13 weeks with a start date of April 21st, 2025, working 40 hours per week, with 10 hour shifts.
Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated travel Physical Therapist to join our team. As a travel Physical Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and rehabilitation centers. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, and providing therapy services to help patients recover from injuries or illnesses.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to assess their physical abilities and create personalized treatment plans
- Provide physical therapy services to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other forms of therapy
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality care
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment plans
Requirements:
- Licensure: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where assigned
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (or related field) from an accredited program
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist (preferably in a travel setting)
- Certifications: BLS certification and any other required certifications for the facility or assignment
