What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer: Looking for Volunteers to Facilitate Tour of Neighborhoods Along the 7 line position at Hostelling International USA (HI USA)?
Who We Are
We bring travelers together in the largest hostel network in the USA, but that’s just the start from local tours and experiences, to experiential learning programs, HI USA strives to bring moments of cultural understanding to our guests and community members. HI USA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, member-based organization that reinvests our surpluses back into our hostels and programs so they can have an even greater impact, year after year.
, Unofficially dubbed the "International express", the 7 train runs through multiple neighborhoods that are home to various ethnicities. This makes every stop along this route an opportunity to learn more about the ethnic diversity of the people whom live in these communities.
HI NYC is seeking a volunteer that is able to take international travelers to one or more of the neighborhoods to learn more about it's history and explore some local eateries and shops!

HI USA is 501(c)(3) non-profit education association. Our purpose is to "inspire a deeper understanding of people places and cultures for a more tolerant world." As a non-profit, the revenues we receive through overnight stays and memberships is reinvested in mission delivery.
HI New York is a nonprofit hospitality and education organization and the largest hostel in North America.
