What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Lead position at Hot Dog Depot?
Our shift leads are responsible for creating that unforgettable guest experience while supporting the GM with day-to-day operations. You are responsible for ensuring top notch cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times. You will help lead a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do:
- Be the primary source of decision-making when the GM is not present (GM and owners are easily accessible).
- Lead opening and/or closing duties, manage cash (minimal), and handle customer service issues.
- Learn and be able to teach all positions.
- Majority of time will be focused on cooking and prep, but there will be times that you will shift around to other roles as needed.
- Ensure there is a clean and safe working environment.
