We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and driving the overall success of accounts. As an Account Manager, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure the timely delivery of services or products. You’ll play a key role in expanding business opportunities and ensuring long-term client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries and support.
- Account Strategy & Planning: Work with clients to understand their objectives and develop tailored solutions that meet their business needs. Create and execute account plans to meet goals and KPIs.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product, etc.) to ensure that client projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Customer Satisfaction: Proactively manage client expectations and resolve issues or concerns to ensure a high level of satisfaction and retention.
- Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services to existing clients, contributing to revenue growth.
- Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular updates to clients regarding account status, performance metrics, and project progress. Document all interactions and maintain detailed records of account activities.
- Client Onboarding & Training: Lead the onboarding process for new clients and provide training on products/services as needed.
- Problem Solving & Support: Address and resolve client issues, acting as an advocate for the client while balancing company priorities and policies.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to offer valuable insights and recommendations to clients.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 2 years of experience in account management, client services, or a related field.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Solid understanding of project management principles and client servicing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with account management software or tools.
- Sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to negotiate and close deals effectively.
