The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for assisting with customer inquiries related to warehouse activities, including order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This role involves working closely with warehouse staff, coordinating order processing, and ensuring a positive customer experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping, delivery, and inventory availability via phone, email, or live chat.
- Process and track customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely shipping and delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled on schedule.
- Address customer concerns related to product availability, shipping errors, or delivery issues, resolving problems with empathy and professionalism.
- Work with the warehouse team to prepare and schedule shipments, ensuring accuracy in order processing and labeling.
- Maintain and update accurate customer records, order status, and shipping information in the company’s system.
- Provide customers with information on delivery times, tracking, and other shipping-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics and sales, to streamline operations and improve customer service.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all warehouse safety and operational guidelines during customer interactions.
- Assist with returns and exchanges, providing customers with clear instructions and handling follow-up communication.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus).
- Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or warehouse operations (1-2 years preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to remain calm and composed when addressing customer complaints or issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with customer service software (CRM) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
