Job Title: X Games Merchandise Booth Associate

Position Overview:
As an X Games Merchandise Booth Associate, you will play a key role in representing the X Games brand while providing a memorable experience for attendees. You will assist customers in purchasing official merchandise, ensuring the booth runs smoothly, and maintaining a high level of customer service. You will be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced, exciting environment, and helping fans take home their favorite X Games gear.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in selecting merchandise, answer questions about products, sizes, and availability, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Sales & Transactions: Process cash and card payments efficiently, handle returns and exchanges, and maintain an accurate cash register.
- Inventory Management: Stock shelves with merchandise, monitor inventory levels, and assist with restocking as needed. Keep the booth organized and visually appealing.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the latest X Games merchandise, including apparel, accessories, and collectibles, to better assist customers and promote sales.
- Booth Maintenance: Ensure the booth is clean, organized, and visually appealing throughout the day. Help set up and break down the booth before and after the event.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other booth associates and event staff to ensure seamless operations and provide support where needed.
- Customer Engagement: Encourage attendees to explore and purchase products, and promote any special offers or limited-edition items available at the booth.
Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles preferred.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to interact with a diverse range of customers, answer questions clearly, and handle transactions accurately.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Careful handling of merchandise and attention to visual presentation of the booth.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50lbs stand for long periods, lift and carry merchandise, and assist with booth set-up and breakdown.
- Positive Attitude: Enthusiasm for X Games and a passion for delivering excellent service to fans and customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in action sports, X Games, or related activities.
- Experience working at large events or festivals.
- Cash handling experience.
Additional Information:
- The role is temporary and event-based, working during the dates of the X Games event.
- Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
