Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and effective dispatcher to join our team at our facility in West Salem WI. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our team by creating and executing the outbound operational plan while meeting organizational goals. Hours are 4pm to 12:30 am Monday thru Friday.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate nightly linehaul plan and make adjustments as needed
Process driver's end of day paperwork
Coordinate and oversee dock personnel in execution of loading plan
Utilize the dispatch program to process freight and dispatch drivers
Assist with customer service duties after business hours
Process daily paperwork
Primary Job Qualifications:
Effective and respectful communications, both verbal and written
Ability to multitask successfully in a fast paced environment
Ability to be a self starter
Ability to oversee plan execution and give clear and concise work instructions to dock workers and drivers.
An out of the box thinker
Works well in an autonomous environment
Possesses servant leadership skills with a team mentality
Computer experience in outlook and excel
TMS experience a plus
