We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces.
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used properly and maintained in good working condition.
- Provide porter services by moving furniture and equipment as required for events or maintenance activities.
Skills
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Experience in floor care techniques including buffing and waxing.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
