Model Server

Hot Noods Noodle Bar is located in Downtown Fremont inside the El Cortez Casino.

We are looking for Server with dynamic personality and high volume restaurant experience to show our guests a great time. We are not looking for order takers, rather sales people who want to create an unforgettable experience in a beautiful space. Server will offer great F&B with fun and upbeat customer service at every opportunity.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Compensation: Base Hourly Tips. Overtime qualified.

Primary Job Duties– Includes but is not limited to:

• Greet and welcome all guests in a professional manner.
• Obtain food and beverage orders from guests and enter orders in point of sales system.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and delivered to each guest in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean and well stocked workstations.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the proper age to purchase alcoholic beverages.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure accuracy of order.
• Offer item suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques (e.g. daily beverage specials, cocktails/wines and after dinner beverages).
• Carry and push heavy (approximately 30lbs) trays and carts of glassware and items as directed by management.
• Ensure all Hot Noods Noodle Bar core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
• Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
• Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.
• Pose for pictures or videos as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

Ability to obtain the following:

• Alcohol Awareness Card
• Food Handling Card
• LVMPD Work Card
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
• At least 21 years of age.
• High Volume Serving: 1-3 years (Required)
• High Volume Restaurant: 1-3 years (Required)
• Experience as a Server, Cocktail Server, or Model a plus
• Knowledge of menu recipes, types of alcohol, and common alternatives for customers with allergies or special requests.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Polished appearance and demeanor.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of operational policies in health and safety, liquor licensing, food hygiene, and emergency procedure.
• At least six months of previous customer service experience in a similar or related field.
• At least six months of previous cash handling experience.
• Previous experience in a Cocktail or Lounge Server position in a similar or related field preferred
• Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting.
