WORK SCHEDULE: Per contracted days
POSITION SUMMARY
The Foundation Director is a part time position with a non-profit Foundation. The work schedule is flexible, but the expectation will be 24 hours per week working 3 days per week with 2 of those days being in the office. The Foundation Director will be a member of the Hot Springs Public School Education Foundation and is responsible for the effective organization, execution, and fundraising of all events associated with the Foundation. Under the general direction of the Hot Springs Public School Education Foundation board of directors, planning, organizing and executing Foundation events, fundraising activities, along with making community connections, and maintaining required records will be expected.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To possess exceptional organizational skills
- To develop, implement, and promote ongoing non-profit foundation fundraising
- To foster and promote positive community relationships
- To report to the board of directors at their regular meetings
- To collect data and maintain records for the Foundation
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of high school diploma with an accredited educational institution. Other requirements per job description.
EXPERIENCE
Previous non-profit and fundraising experience preferred, but not required. Other requirements per job description.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Hand-eye and mind-eye coordination. Constant hearing; intermittent speaking, standing, walking and writing. Frequent carrying, keyboarding, and other repetitive movements. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds as needed to move objects often.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Skills in human relations, leadership, and conflict management. Demonstrated skills in the use of technology.
