Summary : Maintains service operations by inspecting, maintaining and repairing vehicles and equipment. Requires valid Arkansas driver's license and clean driving record with proof of liability insurance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Diagnoses and repairs vehicle and equipment malfunctions.
- Assists in maintaining inventory of parts and fuels.
- Maintains safe and orderly work habits.
- Performs vehicle and equipment tire changing and maintenance.
- Performs housekeeping and improvements around the shop as necessary.
- Must demonstrate basic fabrication and welding Knowledge.
- Must comply with the Property Owner’s Association (POA) rules, regulations and policies with emphasis on workplace safety.
- Must be able to operate all POA vehicles and equipment.
- Any other duties or services as directed by supervisors and managers.
- Regular attendance is required.

Education and / or Experience - High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Automotive Vocational training or minimum one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Work Environment - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. This is a safety-sensitive position.
