Responsibilities and Duties :

Personal Care : Assist with activities of daily living such as personal hygiene, ambulation / transfers, eating, and dressing.

Meal Preparation : Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.

Companionship : Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments.

Housekeeping : Perform tasks like vacuuming, dusting, sweeping / mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.

Incontinence Care : Provide compassionate and respectful care.

Medication Reminders : Ensure patients take their medications on time.

Exercise Assistance : Help with prescribed range of motion exercises.

Special Diets : Measure and prepare special diets as needed.

Dementia Care : Understand and provide specialized care for dementia patients.

Overnight Shifts : Must be available to work overnight shifts.

Qualifications and Skills :

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.

Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile.

Smartphone required.

CNA / PCA / HHA Certificate
