The investment analyst will research investment opportunities within their assigned industry, make investment recommendations to the broader team, and contribute to sector team discussions and portfolio construction.
Specific job responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking fundamental industry analysis including competitive threats and opportunities, growth potential, and industry evolution
- Creating detailed company research, including financial projections and valuation
- Collaborating with our sector teams to refine the investment thesis and vetting investment ideas through the peer review process
Candidate Profile:
- A high level of intelligence, analytical ability, and integrity
- A willingness to learn, think creatively, and exercise diligence and thoroughness in security analysis
- A passion for value investing
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team
- Prior work experience in the areas of finance, accounting, or equity valuation is preferred
The expected base salary range for this position is generally between $175,000 to $180,000 per year. This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus as part of a total compensation package which also includes our company sponsored benefit programs. Base salary is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and market factors.
