Trash Helper

Trash Bumper (Labor intensive, picking up customers trash on trash truck)
Type of Job:
Full Time
Hours:
6:30 – 5:00 with 30-minute lunch while on the route
4-10’s Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri (off most Wednesdays and weekends)
Some overtime required
Home every night
Job Description:
The Waste Collector/Bumper is responsible for working on the back of a rear load trash truck and collecting customer curb side household trash and placing in the truck for hauling to the landfill. Job duties include but are not limited to:
· Must wear appropriate PPE (gloves, safety glasses, safety vest, and etc)
· Must learn the route and customers on the route in a timely manner
· Training of the safe operation of the truck will be provided
· May need to lift items up to 50lbs frequently
· Keep truck & work areas clean and tidy
· Assist other employees & other company needs as requested

Education, Experience, & Requirements
