Position Title: Houseperson
Reports To: Housekeeping Manager/Operations Manager

Responsibilities
- Report to Front Desk at beginning of shift, pick up key, and return key at end of shift
- Ability to follow shift checklist and accurately record notes throughout your shift
- Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses as required during general cleaning
- Polish metalwork and furniture
- Vacuum floors, clean bathrooms and common areas
- Stock own cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift
- Deliver baby cribs, pillows, extra towels and misc. guest requests to guest rooms
- Remove debris, clean driveways and garage areas
- Assume the responsibilities of a room attendant during periods of short staffing or when asked to by direct supervisor
- Clean and maintain any and all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies
- Collect soiled linens for laundering from dirty rooms, housekeepers? carts, and linen closets
- Shampoo carpets using shampoo machine
- Strip, seal, and wax floors according to proper procedures using any safety equipment necessary
- Restock shelves with paper supplies and restock room cleaner caddies daily
- Put away all incoming supplies and deliveries
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
- Must have a knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors
- Ability to accurately report information
