Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a passionate, service-driven, and confident Public Area Inspector to lead by example, train, and mentor our team responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the resort’s public spaces. This hands-on role supports the leadership team and works closely with Housekeeping to ensure the highest standards of presentation and hygiene are consistently maintained throughout the property. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a team of hospitality professionals committed to delivering exceptional service and atmosphere to our guests.
Responsibilities
Ensure the quality and consistency of the guest experience by implementing and upholding public area cleanliness standards
Lead and foster a positive and engaging work culture
Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations for all public spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, and other common areas
Collaborate and work cohesively with team members across departments
Handle challenges with a calm, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
Maintain high levels of organization and efficiency within public area operations
Respond effectively to guest concerns or feedback related to public spaces in a courteous, attentive manner
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping experience in luxury hospitality
Flexible, hardworking team player with a positive attitude and sharp attention to detail
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Professional personal presentation and grooming standards
Strong organizational skills and commitment to cleanliness standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
