Overview
We are seeking the “best of the best” restaurant professionals who are passionate about food, elevated service, and beverage experiences. Our Food & Beverage team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is currently looking for a motivated and attentive server for our Coastal Italian restaurant Saint Bibiana. In this role, you will work with a team of hospitality partners who are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Gain insight into guests’ dining preferences through verbal and nonverbal cues
- Ensure high quality and consistency of the guest experience
- Speak eloquently about the hotel, restaurant, and menu
- Collaborate and work cohesively with other team members
- Handle challenges with poise with positivity
- Make beverage and dining suggestions and describe the items to guests
- Take and serve orders and answer all guest inquiries
- Oversee table maintenance
- Maintain the ambiance and standards of the restaurant and hotel at all times while on property
Qualifications
- Hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Passionate about hospitality, food & beverage and possess a desire to learn
- ability to multitask, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation and grooming standards
- Wine and ServSafe certifications are a plus
- Ability to endure abundant physical movement in various work areas
