Hotel California by the Sea (HCBTS) is a dual-diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment center located in Bellevue, WA with other facilities located in Newport Beach, CA and Cincinnati, OH. HCBTS is looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our outstanding team as Contract Therapists! Please note that this is a 1099 contract offer, with no current projected end date.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hold a caseload of 3 – 15 clients, depending on your availability and needs.
- Provide individual psychotherapy services to clients
- Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Collaborate with the clinical team when necessary
- Create individualized treatment plans alongside clients
- Keep accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all state and company policies and guidelines
- Occasionally be asked to respond appropriately to clients experiencing a crisis
- Provide accurate and timely invoices for services
- Optional: facilitation of Group Therapy with clients
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- Licensed as one of the following: LMHC, LICSW, LASW, LMFT, LMHCA, LSWAIC, LSWAA
- Experience providing individualized counseling as well as group facilitation (if facilitating groups)
- Strong commitment to serving clients struggling with chemical dependency
- Understanding of the disease model of addiction
- Active professional liability insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fully licensed as a mental health clinician in the state of WA
- Licensed as a Chemical Dependency Professional (SUDP)
- Experience working within a dual-diagnosis model of treatment
- Experience in the behavioral healthcare field
- Demonstrated skills in crisis management
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
