JOB SUMMARY:
The House Attendant provides janitorial and maintenance support to housekeeping by ensuring that the premises are clean and tidy always. They prepare rooms for guests and ensure that auditoriums and meeting rooms are well equipped and neat.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and clean rooms, bathrooms and work areas
- Clean furnishings and carpets
- Clean and maintain common- areas within the hotel
- Assist with bellman duties when required
- Reply guests’ questions and handle any concerns
- Assist front desk staff as required
- Replenish supplies in guest rooms
- Change bed linens and empty trash as required
- Assist housekeeping staff with laundry removal
- Stripe out linen, terry, and trash from vacant rooms
- Lift and rotate mattresses quarterly
- Clean the SPA and Fitness Center, as well as, pick-up dirty linen/towels, and delivery of clean replenishment.
- Immediately reports maintenance deficiencies, damage, or loss to Housekeeping Department
- Turns lost and found items in accordance with hotel standards
- Work with machinery both indoors and outdoors including but not limited to: vacuum cleaners, electric and manual hand tools, and carpet-cleaning machines, floor buffers, etc.
- Maintains the highest level of cleanliness of the following (once trained): carpets, tile, cement, marble, glass, and all other surfaces
- Other housekeeping related duties/ special project as assigned.

- Requires ability to perform housekeeping chores (cleaning units or assisting in the laundry) which involve lifting, bending, and stretching
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic team to consistently deliver a quality product
- Knowledge of and ability to use Resilient Floor cleaning/polishing and carpet shampoo equipment etc.
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Basic English language
- Able to handle objects, reach with arms and hands, push carts weighing 100-150 lbs., and lift 50-70 lbs.
