JOB SUMMARY:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Delivers quality products to the guest in a friendly and professional manner and accordance with hotel standards.
- Performs all opening and closing duties as listed on side work assignment sheet.
- Answers all questions regarding the menu accurately.
- Takes food and beverage order accurately and in a timely fashion and enters in the computer.
- Handles financial transactions accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
- Communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability.
- Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen. Record transaction in system at time of order.
- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages. Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
- Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area.
- Present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment.

- One years’ experience as a pool server in high volume, luxury hotel or resort environment.
- Thorough knowledge of food and beverage terminology and service techniques.
- Exceptional guest services skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills, and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds repetitively during entire shift.
- Able to work a flexible schedule to include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
