Laundry Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel or similar setting and possess a strong commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Clean and launder various types of fabrics, including linens, towels, and uniforms.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently.
• Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed to maintain fabric quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and machinery.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery effectively.
• Experience with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
