SUMMARY: The Banquet Server provides prompt, accurate, professional, and friendly food and beverage setup and conference services to hotel and conference guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain service standards
- Assists servers, bartenders, and setups in daily operations
- Assists in maintaining food/beverage, linen, and dry goods inventories to par levels
- Checks banquet area before, during, and after event for proper set and cleanliness
- Follows established checklists for opening and closing duties
- Greets all guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Handles multiple guests efficiently
- Ensures all BEO's are followed and serviced in a timely manner
- Follows all appropriate regulations for food service, safety & sanitation, MSDS, TIPS (alcohol service)
- Displays excellent communication/organizational skills and proven ability to work under high pressure
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts and cordial carts
- Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
- If no upcoming events, please have rooms in a readiness position for any possible site inspections
- Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently

- Serving experience preferred
