The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Cook I to join the culinary team at ENO Artisan Pizzeria! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.
ENO Market & Pizzeria offers two distinct experiences. Inside, ENO Market offers extensive grab-and-go offerings plus coffees, fresh pastries, and sandwiches. Outside, ENO Pizzeria offers a beautiful new patio gazebo and casual tables for sharing rustic artisanal pizzas, savoring dolce, and enjoying a cocktail or glass of wine.
Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms, cottages and villas with 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $22.44 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
A valid Food Handler’s Card is required for this position.
A Cook I is responsible for preparing food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a fast-paced restaurant/kitchen environment and large scale production with the ability to work varied shifts as needed. Hotel experience is a plus!

- Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
- Stock and maintain designated food station(s)
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations
- Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
- Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes
