The Spirit Guide (Bartender) delivers food and beverage orders to guests according to Carriqui’s specifications and standards, courteously and efficiently. S/he will assist in the maintenance of the bar/restaurant areas and equipment as well as be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient billing of guest charges and maintaining bar stocks and par levels.

The Spirit Guide (Bartender) delivers food and beverage orders to guests according to Carriqui’s specifications and standards, courteously and efficiently. S/he will assist in the maintenance of the bar/restaurant areas and equipment as well as be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient billing of guest charges and maintaining bar stocks and par levels.
Essential Functions
- Maintain complete knowledge and descriptions of:
- all menu items, alcohol brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections available on our list.
- maintenance and use of equipment, designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes for each drink.
- state liquor regulations.
- Responsible for the set-up, maintenance (stocking & cleaning), and operation of the bar, including making liquor drinks and serving guests in a timely manner.
- Ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Ensure that bank is always secure.
- Complete opening and closing duties.
- Input orders into system and ensure transmission of food orders is verified by kitchen.
- Prepare all drink orders for guests according to the restaurant's trained recipes.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of bar top, tables, service areas and outlet itself.
- Direct and assist Bar Backs and Servers in their job functions to ensure smooth and efficient service to guests.
- Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by liquor regulations as per TABC guidelines and provincial liquor codes.
- Make safety concerns a priority. Any spills, broken glass, or other unsafe conditions must take priority over other duties.
- Ability to multitask at a high level without compromising service.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at
