The Concept
Carriqui will be the definitive hospitality destination of South Texas. The 380-seat restaurant is dedicated to the foods of our region—from Gulf coast seafood to Hill Country barbecue to Rio Grande Valley-inspired botana platters. Located on the northern edge of the Pearl neighborhood, this restaurant will occupy a historic building that has been home to many storied establishments.

Position Summary
The Steward will efficiently wash dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist the team with kitchen operations.
Essential Functions
- Operate all kitchen cleaning equipment.
- Wash dishes and glassware, by hand if necessary.
- Restock all supplies.
- Keep kitchen area clean and free of debris and water.
- Stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner.
- Remove trash and all debris from restaurant routinely.
- Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary.
Skills & Abilities
- Position requires effective communication with departments and team.
- Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulate the Carriqui culture.
- Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.
Required Education and Experience
- Three to six months related experience and or training.
- Minimum knowledge, previous experience not required.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods standing and working of 8 hours or
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at
