Basic Function:
As the Supervisor, you are expected to deliver the highest possible standards of service, whilst being pro-active in maintaining and/or improving daily operations, customer service, employee conduct, and professionalism in all Outlets (IRD, Ice Box, and Pool).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists in the outlet's performance on a daily operational basis.
- Monitors the smooth running of these areas as well as customer service and satisfaction.
- Will interact with guests to ensure their satisfaction, and will promote the services and facilities of the hotel in all possible ways.
- Will ensure that five diamond standards are followed and will deal with customer complaints and listen to their feedback to improve service.
- Will help recruit a team of professional and certified staff that are committed to five-diamond service on all fronts of the outlets.
- Will assist in organizing meetings for the staff, menu changes on toast and other work-oriented matters and implement additional training when needed in IRD, Ice Box and Pool outlets.
- Will enforce health and safety standards to ensure all team members have knowledge about safe working conditions.
- Assist in creating periodic review systems to ensure smooth functioning of the hotel outlet. This includes standards tests and service shops.
- Assist in the supervision of IRD, Ice Box and Pool associates.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Assists in helping interview, hire, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance; rewarding employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Follows and enforces all rules and policies of the hotel.
- Maintains a high level of staff contact during service hours.
- Handles staff and guest routine comments in a professional manner and according to established policies, and refer any significant issues to the In Room Dinning General Manager.
- Walks through facilities and related areas before and after each service period to assure everything is in proper order.
- Maintains proper communication of each employee to ensure they are following proper guidelines and procedures.
- Supervises all duties delegated to make certain they are being done in a manner, which will ensure the success of the Outlets.
- Prepares daily reports detailing sales, problems, complaints, ideas, employee feedback, etc.
- Participates as an active member of the outlet team staff in improving the service and operation of the Outlets.
- Fosters a teamwork spirit within the staff. Assists in developing incentive programs and other morale-boosting programs to ensure a high level of enthusiasm in the service staff.
- Presents a professional image through dress and demeanor both on and off premises.
- Anticipates the needs/requests of service staff, members and guests, so we may provide “proactive” service at all times.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum(2) two years’ experience in Hotel Industry
- Position requires effective communication with guests and co-workers.
- Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulates the Hotel Emma Culture.
- Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to lift up 50 pounds. Prolonged standing, pushing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restrictions. Schedule will reflect business demands. Long and unusual hours on occasion.
Salary : $21
