Job Description
The purpose of the position of kitchen steward is to serve wash dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist the team with kitchen operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Duties are as follows but not limited to:
- Operate all kitchen cleaning equipment
- Wash dishes and glassware, by hand if necessary
- Restock all supplies
- Keep kitchen area clean and free of debris and water.
- Stock any deliveries received in a timely and safe manner
- Remove trash and all debris from restaurant routinely
- Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary
Job Requirements:
- Position requires effective communication with departments and team.
- Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulate the Hotel Emma culture.
- Three to six months related experience and or training.
- Minimum knowledge, previous experience not required
- Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays
