Position Summary :
The House Attendant supports the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness and luxury standards of the guest rooms and public areas at Hotel Granduca. This role plays an integral part in assisting Room Attendants with their duties, ensuring that all guest spaces are pristine, organized, and well-stocked. The House Attendant helps create an exceptional guest experience by ensuring that all areas of the hotel meet the high standards of our boutique property.
Key Responsibilities :
Support Room Attendants :
Assist Room Attendants in preparing guest rooms for check-in by delivering fresh linens, towels, and necessary amenities.
- Help with stripping used linens and restocking the housekeeping carts with the appropriate supplies.
- Carry out general cleaning tasks in public areas and assist in setting up guest rooms as needed.
- Ensure all necessary equipment, such as cleaning supplies and linens, are well-organized and ready for use by Room Attendants.
Public Area Cleaning :
Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, and stairwells to ensure they meet the hotel’s luxury standards.
Housekeeping Support :
Assist with linen sorting and inventory control, reporting any shortages to the Room Attendants or Housekeeping Supervisor.
Guest Experience :
Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude while assisting Room Attendants or guests, promoting a welcoming environment.
Efficiency & Safety :
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in all assigned work areas.
Collaboration :
Work closely with Room Attendants to ensure that all room turnover and public area cleaning is done efficiently.
Qualifications : Experience :
Previous experience in a housekeeping support role or as a house attendant in a luxury hotel is preferred but not required.
Skills & Competencies :
Ability to work as part of a team and assist Room Attendants in ensuring that all hotel areas are maintained to luxury standards.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to [insert weight, e.g., 25 lbs] when assisting with linens, supplies, or trash.
