Extend a warm welcome to each guest, setting the stage for their exceptional journey with us.

Craft and serve beverages to exacting standards, while also highlighting promotions to enhance our guest's experience.

Take charge of your bar, meticulously managing stock, inventory, and equipment, ensuring the space remains impeccably clean.

Expertly handle cash and credit transactions with precision.

Collaborate closely with your restaurant colleagues to deliver a seamlessly coordinated food service.

What we expect from you:

Physical capability to handle heavy objects, up to 50lbs (23 kg), which may involve bending and kneeling.

Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic mathematics.

Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Adherence to local regulations pertaining to food handling and alcohol service, including meeting the minimum age requirement and fluency in the local language.

Exceptional communication skills, characterized by warmth, approachability, and ease of conversation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers according to the Hotel Indigo World Class Beverage Program
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Prepare garnishes and decorate drinks as required
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, cocktail recipes, and mixology is a plus
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and take orders effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
- Must be at least 21 years old (or the legal drinking age in your location)
