Overview:
Mommy Wants A Break is excited to announce our Summer Camp program at our indoor play facility! We are looking for enthusiastic and responsible Camp Counselors to provide a fun, safe, and enriching environment for children during our summer sessions. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all campers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children throughout the camp day, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts that promote teamwork, creativity, and physical activity.
- Foster a positive camp atmosphere by encouraging participation and inclusivity among all campers.
- Be a role model for children by demonstrating responsible behavior, compassion, and enthusiasm.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and fellow staff members regarding daily activities and any concerns.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized camp environment.
- Address and resolve conflicts or behavioral issues in a constructive manner.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old; previous experience working with children preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus (training may be provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative.
- Energetic, creative, and passionate about working with children.
- Must pass a background check.

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
