Summary

Parking/Laundry Overnight Attendant, is a blended position for the ideal candidate who is flexible and can assist both the housekeeping and front desk departments. One must assist our guests with Love Aloha in all related functions and maintain a high standard of service and hospitality. We have an integrated approach to guest experience and that starts with our ambassadors. The roll will cover valet, bellman, security, housekeeping, front desk and more. It is a great opportunity to hone your guest services skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Passing Mandatory Drug Testing prior to start of position
  • Three References of Managers or Direct Supervisors

Prerequisites

  • Valet, hospitality, retail, or F&B experience
  • Open availability preferred - guest experience is a 24/7 operation
  • Positive and cheerful attitude, pleasant personality, enjoys meeting people from all over the world and enjoys helping others

Essential Functions

  • Serve as the point person for valet and bell services during your shift. This will include parking and retrieving guest cars and assisting guests with luggage.
  • Oversee security as needed during your shift.
  • Assist Housekeeping with preparing the Linen, folding and washing of linen for the next day.
  • Assist with the delivery of linen and housekeeping amenities to the guest's room during the overnight shift.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties.
  • Assist the front desk with coverage as well as other duties that is requested.
  • Consistent and dependable attendance will be vital for this position and will be monitored daily.
  • Resolve guest issues in a calm and professional manner, providing solutions and making sure all guests have a 5-star experience.
  • Take ownership of the guest experience and delivery a personalized and memorable experience to each of our guests.
  • Engaging with guests to offer them a love and aloha experience.
  • Delivery anticipatory service by seeking to understand the guests needs.
  • Develop a relationship with guests and provide services & recommendations for dining, shopping, actives, taxi, shuttles, wake-up calls, etc.

Physical Demands

  • These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the guest service agent position.
  • Hours for this shift are generally between 10pm to 5am.
  • Light work
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to stand during entire shift.

Work Environment

Guest Ambassador maybe in working anywhere in the Hotel, but are stationed at the Valet Stand and Laundry facility.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
