Laborer/Maintenance Worker

Holiday Inn Express & Suites is seeking a hardworking and reliable Maintenance Worker/Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring our hotel remains in top condition for our guests by performing general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to the property. If you have experience in maintenance, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in keeping facilities running smoothly, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Conduct inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become problems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's interior and exterior, including landscaping and trash removal.
• Maintenance and repair hotel appliances, fixtures, and furniture as needed.
• Follow the safety protocols and maintain compliance with hotel brand standards.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to keep the hotel in top working condition.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or general labor preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot minor repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical labor, including standing, bending, and climbing ladders.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
