As a member of our hotel staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable meal at our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greeting Guests: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude as they arrive at their tables.
- Taking Orders: Accurately take food and beverage orders, answering any questions about the menu and making suggestions as needed.
- Serving Food & Beverages: Deliver food and drinks to guests in a timely and organized manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
- Customer Service: Anticipate guests' needs, provide refills, and respond promptly to any additional requests.
- Upselling: Suggest additional menu items such as appetizers, desserts, or drink specials to enhance the dining experience.
- Handling Payments: Present checks, process payments (cash, credit cards, gift cards), and return change or receipts.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure tables are clean and well-maintained throughout service. Assist in clearing dishes and resetting tables after guests leave.
- Handling Complaints: Address any guest concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers to ensure smooth operations and service flow.
- FOLLOWING HEALTH & SAFETY STANDARDS: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe dining environment.
