Lifeguard

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all pool guests. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for monitoring activities in and around the pool area, enforcing safety rules, and providing excellent guest services. Your role is crucial in preventing accidents and responding to emergencies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical testing.
• Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
• Assist with guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
• Conduct routine inspections of the pool area to identify potential hazards.
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on lifeguarding techniques and safety protocols.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to pool equipment or maintenance as required.

Requirements

• Current Lifeguard certification is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification are essential.
• Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
• Experience in guest services is a plus.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures is beneficial.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely when needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to safety.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
