Summary
The Solaris Garage Hiker is responsible for providing a positive first and lasting impression to guests when they arrive and leave the hotel.
Essential Functions
To perform the Solaris Garage Hiker position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Provide claim check and instruct guests on how to reclaim vehicle
· Park guest vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner
· Retrieve customer vehicles from specified areas in a safe and efficient manner
· Provide travel directions and information on property events and promotions
· Fill out all parking tickets that include make of car, location of car, name of registered guest and mark the ticket for pre-existing damage
· Initial parking tickets
· Ensure all cars are parked and brought down completely safe
· Obey all traffic laws on and off property
· Promote the courteous treatment of customers when resolving guest service issues
· Provide timely and knowledgeable service and then some to each and every guest; always find solutions to guests’ problems
· Greet arriving and departing guests; open passenger door(s) and offer assistance, if appropriate
· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Work Environment
· The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
· The position is located outside in a garage setting in adverse weather conditions (rain, heat or cold)
