Job Description
A Barista will ensure all guests are greeted and served in a friendly and courteous manner using appropriate procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- To open and close, including signage, hours of operation, lighting of room and general set-up procedures. Serve all food and beverage items
- Maintain cleanliness of the food area; including bussing and re-setting tables, keeping the floors clean and maintaining overall neatness
- Greet guests with a smile, use names when possible
- Inform the guest about any specials
- Attend to and anticipate guest needs
- Familiarization with menu
- Maintain knowledge of daily specials and drinks
- Keep areas up to date and organized, par levels stocked, and overall set up of your area.
- Keep barista stand stocked with essentials
- Complete daily and weekly side work as assigned
- Close all guest checks
- Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
Job Requirements
- Prior coffee shop experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
