Night Auditor Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to all hotel guests during their stay.
- Perform night audit procedures, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and balanced.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring all information is entered into the system and payments are processed correctly.
- Review and reconcile daily financial reports, including charges, payments, and adjustments.
- Monitor hotel security and safety protocols during the overnight shift.
- Assist with reservations, room assignments, and provide information on hotel amenities and services.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports, including revenue and occupancy statistics.
- Ensure the front desk is stocked with necessary supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the lobby area.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to address any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
Night Auditor Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required.
- Requires a flexible schedule that allows for overnight shift hours.
- Must be computer proficient; experience with accounting or reservation software is a bonus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours and handle various tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.18 - $25.10 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
