Floor Supervisor – Housekeeping
Are you a natural leader with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating immaculate guest experiences? We are seeking a Floor Supervisor to oversee and support our dedicated room attendant team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
This full-time AM position requires weekend and holiday availability in our upscale hotel, where excellence is our standard and teamwork is key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire – Supervise and motivate a team of room attendants, ensuring rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness standards.
- Quality Control – Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and hallways, addressing any deficiencies and ensuring prompt corrective action.
- Guest Satisfaction – Ensure guests receive an exceptional housekeeping experience by addressing requests and concerns promptly.
- Training & Development – Provide guidance, coaching, and training to housekeeping team members to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Supply & Inventory Management – Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, ensuring proper distribution and stock levels.
- Collaboration – Work closely with other hotel departments to coordinate special requests, maintenance needs, and room readiness.
- Policy & Safety Compliance – Ensure adherence to hotel policies, health, and safety regulations, maintaining a secure and well-organized work environment.
- Other duties as necessary including cleaning rooms or assisting laundry or as assigned.
- Previous housekeeping supervisory experience in a hotel or hospitality setting strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the role, including standing, bending, and lifting.
